Villa One | Llandudno

A design collaboration between SANE Design Studio X Meesterwerk Ateljee

A stunning luxury villa overlooking the crystal blue Atlantic ocean.

The luxury villa in Llandudno, South Africa, designed by Ganesh Sabapathee and refined by architects Johannes Nel and Quanétha Hinrichsen, is a masterpiece of "architecture as sculpture." The house is an organic and fluid structure, inspired by the shapes and textures of oceanic elements such as seashells. The exterior of the house is constructed from concrete, mimicking the texture of a seashell and blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape.

As you enter the house, you are greeted by a grand foyer with high ceilings and an elegant spiral staircase. The interior of the house is characterized by refined materials such as hardwood floors and handmade ceramic tiles. The open-plan living and dining areas are flooded with natural light, and the walls of windows offer breathtaking views of the ocean and the nearby mountains.

The house is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with large sliding doors that open up to a spacious terrace, perfect for entertaining or simply enjoying the beautiful views. The terrace features a swimming pool and a built-in barbeque area, making it the perfect spot for al fresco dining.

The house has four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and private balcony. The master bedroom is a true sanctuary, with a large dressing room and a luxurious bathroom featuring a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. The client who loves the ocean, diving and island life, will appreciate the attention to detail and the refinement of the finishes used throughout the house, fit for royalty.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, with top-of-the-range appliances and a large island. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the living and dining areas, making it perfect for entertaining. The house also has a home cinema, a gym, and a wine cellar.

The house is situated in Llandudno, one of the most exclusive and sought-after neighborhoods in Cape Town. The area is known for its beautiful beaches and its proximity to the city center and the famous V&A Waterfront. The house is also just a short drive from some of the most famous wine regions in the world, such as Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
